Our mission is to persuasively present biblical principles in the centers of influence on issues affecting the family through research, communication, and networking.

Our vision is to see a South Carolina where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive and life is cherished.

Palmetto Family Alliance focuses on seven core areas as they relate to the family. Each value is represented by a star in our logo. Below are our values.

We believe that we are not born by chance and time, but by the direct act of God. Religious liberty should be protected by law and vibrant churches should be encouraged.

We believe that social fabric is only as strong as the bond between its husbands and wives. Children raised in homes where parents enjoy a strong marriage are more likely to be successful.

We believe that mothers and fathers must build character in their children to see that their values live on. Parenting should be active, intentional, and nurturing.

We believe that learning is fundamental to success in life and that all schools – public, private, and home – should be driven by the wishes and active involvement of parents.

We believe that the earth and its fullness are a sacred trust. Natural, economic and family resources should be cherished as a gift from God.

We believe that private enterprise, not government, is the engine of economic progress. Free enterprise, entrepreneurship and hard work should be taught and celebrated.

We believe that just like they deserve clean air and clean water, families also deserve a clean society that treasures life, truth, justice and purity.

Palmetto Family Alliance began its life as Legacy Alliance Foundation, a 501(c)(4) organization founded to fight the expansion of video poker. When Legacy Alliance accomplished its goal of shutting down 33,000 video gambling machines under the leadership of Executive Director Larry Huff, the name was changed to Palmetto Family Alliance and became governed by the board of Palmetto Family Council.

The addition of the 501(c)(4) “action” organization Palmetto Family Alliance has allowed the Palmetto Family brand to engage in both education and public policy activism. With the Alliance as a tool in the toolbox, Palmetto Family can take positions on legislation and call out legislators by name for good and bad public service.

Palmetto Family Alliance is a 501(c)(4) organization established and abiding by all applicable state and federal laws. Our accounting practices and procedures are consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and are overseen and reviewed by the Palmetto Family Board.

We abide by the highest legal and ethical standards in the solicitation and handling of donated funds. Donations are not tax-deductible.
